past habits

when we talk about things we did in the past again and again(past habits) there are 3 things we can say:

· past Simple: I played all day when I was 3

· I used to play all day when I was 3

· I would play all day when I was 3

                            BUT

when we have stative verbs we CANNOT use “would”
